something totally different...
      #2200872 - 02/02/04 05:06 PM

i'm working on a mod to add random quests and npc's (a la Daggerfall) to Morrowind. A beta with many features already implemented has been uploaded to the summit; here's the readme:

Morrowind Inhabitants v1.0

____________________________

Description
____________________________

Ever feel like your character is the only person in all of Vvardenfell who ever actually does anything interesting? Ever feel like the entire world revolves solely around you, with NPCs simply waiting for you to come along and trigger a quest? Ever get bored with the predictability of quests, or feel like you've run out of things to do? Morrowind Inhabitants was designed to change that.

This plugin adds randomly-occuring NPCs to the cities and wilderness of Vvardenfell. With Morrowind Inhabitants installed, you'll find new life in Morrowind. Hunters scour the grazelands for game, while pickpockets and bards roam the streets of Vivec seeking their fortunes. Travelers make their way along the roads, stopping to rest at inns and taverns along their journeys. Merchants transport their goods from one city to the next, sometimes stopping to trade with passers-by. All of these NPCs have specific behavior. Some are after your gold, while others seek your help.

In addition, you will find that existing NPCs now have more interesting quests for you. Randomness is an important element in Morrowind Inhabitants. You may be asked to collect a bounty on a dangerous wild animal, or undertake a sacred Oath while making a pilgrimage to an obscure shrine. The rewards for these quests, while balanced for gameplay, are definitely worthwhile.

Below are descriptions of the NPCs and quests added by Morrowind Inhabitants.

{- Random NPCs -}

Pickpockets now appear in cities. They may attempt to rob you. If successful, they will run off with your gold. You may chase them and recover the stolen money. If you lose the thief, you lose your gold as well. If you catch a thief in the act of stealing, you may pursue him and, if he's caught, turn him in to the guards. (Currently you can't turn in a thief, but you can still recover your stolen gold).

Hunters appear in the wilderness. They may request your help tracking down a region-specific creature, but insist that you allow them to bring down the kill. They will reward you with secret lore if you can track down the creature before sundown. - not fully implemented yet.

{- Random quests -}

Alchemists may ask you to assist with experimental potions. They will provide a random list of needed ingredients and send you off to gather them. When you return with the required ingredients, you will receive a random potion with extraordinary properties.

The Imperial Legion offers a bounty on a new creature each week. These bounties can be received from officers of the Imperial Legion (Rank Champion or higher). After receiving the bounty, report any kills of that creature to an officer of the Legion (Rank: Champion or higher) before the bounty expires to receive your reward. The more creatures you kill, the greater your reward.

Monks can administer sacred oaths to your character. You will undertake an Oath, for instance to abstain from the use of weapons, and make a pilgrimage to a random tomb. Once there, you must rid the tomb of guardians and rest in order to be rewarded for completing the Oath. - Note: one Oath, which requires you to wear no armor, is currently broken.

{- Miscellaneous quests -)

- Members of the Twin Lamps will pay handsomely for your assistance in ridding Vvardenfell of slavery. Bring the bracers of any freed slaves to a faction member to be rewarded.

Technical Details
_____________________________________

In making this plugin I made every effort to avoid conflicts with the game itself or with other plugins. All dialogue topics have been made as unique as possible. Where unique leveled lists were not possible, random NPCs have been added to existing lists using the Tribunal leveled list functions to ensure compatibility with mods that alter these lists (such as Giants). The number of global scripts running simultaneously has been kept to a minimum. Dialogue is filtered according to class or faction, so the plugin will work with mods that add new npcs, and no existing dialogue topics have been touched.

Modifications have been made to the original slaveScript, which should not cause conflicts unless another mod alters that script as well. Currently this has no effect on the behavior of slaves. An additional room has been added to the cell "Tel Aruhn, Underground", and a new NPC just outside of the entrance to that cell.

This is a BETA version. The features mentioned in the Description above have all been implemented and tested to the best of my ability. However, you may encounter some glitches, which should be reported in order to ensure a quality mod. Features which remain unimplemented at this point include:

{- NPCs -}

Traveling Merchants - these merchants cart their goods along the roads of Vvardenfell with the help of a packguar. They will gladly stop and trade with any passersby, but some cannot be trusted, and they may prove hard to track down again if you find you've been taken advantage of.

Witches - these women can be found gathering herbs in the wilderness. They may ask for your assistance, but be careful, as witches are known for trickery.

Bards - bards seek their fortunes in the cities and towns of Vvardenfell. Unfortunately, a poor reputation often precedes them, so they may need your assistance in finding a tavern in which to ply their trade.

Bandits - encountered in the wilderness, these ruffians have one demand: your money or your life.

Beggars - these impoverished folk will follow you around the city streets begging for gold. They are an annoyance but there are several ways to get rid of them.

Travelers and Pilgrims - these travelers, often found along roads or in towns and taverns, are on their way to a specific destination. If you are heading the same way, they may accompany you to help make the journey less dangerous.

{- Quests -}

Bereaved commoners may ask that you return the ashes of their dead to their proper resting place within a tomb.

NPCs may be challenged to a duel in the Arena of Vivec.

Traders may send you to retrieve valuable artifacts from random shrines and caves.

You may be asked to retrieve the goods lost on sunken ships.

Smiths can forge unique customized weapons and armor with raw materials you bring them.

Slaves that you free can be escorted back to a slave trader where they can be resold, or to a safe house from which they can return home. Additionally, you can choose to steal slaves for your own personal use, or some may be so grateful for having been rescued that they will follow you freely as a companion.

download the beta and try it out. it should be posted on the summit tomorrow. what's done so far: pickpockets, rewards for freeing slaves, sacred oaths, secret potion recipes, and bounty hunts. right now i'm finishing scripts for reselling slaves you've rescued, and for the traveling merchants.

the fun thing about this mod is that because of the randomness involved, even I don't know what to expect when i play it.

just download it and try it out.
everything that's implemented so far was done in one day's time. i'll probably continue releasing this plugin in small bites as i am constantly having new ideas for it.
my favorite addition is the sacred oath quests, some of them can be quite challenging.

One problem i see. Will this also be compatible with Morrowind Comes Alive? I know that particular mod goes in as an esm, but still it cant hurt to ask just in case since this new idea does go along the same lines.

I can't tell from all these posts... Has anyone played it yet? Not to be harsh, but the creator is a little biased, the idea for this mod is awesome, but I'm skeptical as to how much he could've gotten done in a day... Then again, maybe it is as great as it seems... I'd just like another opinion, anyone have one?

BTW, in case I sound too harsh, I should mention that this is a GREAT idea! And since it's only a beta, if it's a bit lacking, that is too be expected. and if not... then you are truly amazing!

It doesn't seem to conflict with the mod that adds NPCs. There are just a lot of people around. It's nice to get some new dialogue. More than nice. Really good.

My only comment so far is that the pickpockets are way way too fast. I restarted with a level 5 character and even when the pickpockets are trapped at the end of a hall, they have a jittery fast run, like they are forced over 100 for speed and agility. (And no I didn't open the CS to check. SOmeone who knows what they are doing can do that.) So I resorted to a cross bow and chased the little bugger down and shot him from a distance. I'd recommend slowing them down a little. The chase isn't fun, when it's almost impossible to catch the miscreant.

Also re pickpockets - I know I'm a plump pigeon for the picking, but three pickpockets within 5 or so minutes in the Foreign Quarter Plaza seems like too many. -- As you can tell I don't like losing money.

Wow Scruggs,

This sounds fantastic. I can't wait to try it out. All your ideas are outstanding. This has endless posibilities. I'm trying to think of a good idea you could implament, but you've covered the bases pretty well. I particularly like the Oath Quests. Very intriguing.

Now, instead of trying to find something to do, it will find me. That would be nice for a change.

By the way... how's The Exodus Quest coming along? You said a couple of months ago that it was almost complete. Whats up. Its on my most awaited mods list.

This sounds awesome, I just registered to comment on this. I got morrowind a few weeks ago and have been playing it non-stop. I've been searching around the modifications and was sort of inspired by the description to Adventure's NPC's to consider learning to edit and make something sort of like this. Of course, I wasn't planning on anything this elaborate. I realize I'm clearly a total n00b but this sounds awesome. Keep up the good work!

The pickpockets sound cool, it always seemed stupid that I was the only person out there that ever stole anything and that no one ever tried to steal from me. It might also be cool if loot you left on the ground or in an abandoned house got stolen from time to time.

So, where do the thieves run to after they have taken your goods? How about having beggers too, and the more you give to the beggars, the less chance you'll get mugged walking through a city(less desperate beggars becoming pickpockets, and they like the generous sort)?

Quote:

I agree, the only problem I have so far with this mod is how fast the pickpockets run. What I Think should be done, as well as slow them down. Is maybe when they pickpocket you, they run and try to make a get away, once you hit them they fight back... It'd also be nice once they get too low in health that they would try and make one last runaway from you... But not needed.

i have fleeing AI mod it came with Illumitated Order mod and has its own esp.

when the npcs get low on health they will flee. it runs with any mod

i think it came originally from waikums (sp) game improvements .

you could run it in conjucture with this mod

Well all I can say is holy crap, what a coinsidence. I just started a thread that requested a mod with more emotion given to the NPCs, and now I see this. One idea I had that could be added to this mod is to give NPCs lengthy conversational material in which the player can choose different things to say back and the conversation will turn good or bad or whatever depending on what they choose. I know that would probably take a lot of time to do but it would so be worth it and add much to this already great mod.

hi all...

Scruggs, or anyone?!

oh what a wonderfull idea!! i first saw this mod listed in reference on another post and then i found it on Euro and downloaded it immediately, not knowing what it is about!!

---but i have to be very Cautious, as i have Bloodmoon and 180+
mods running already, like
...junipur's twin lamps...vgreetings...More morrowind esm...
...advanced npcs...giants 2.6....vivec expansion...several of Nemon's town npc makeovers, and his npc esp too[!]...illuminated order...dragon perch...havish....

already my framerate is Near The Borderline!!

my question, Scruggs, and all.....What will this Mod of yours do to my frame-rate with all those mods and Bloodmoon too?!
---and the Conflicts.....?????!!

what i will probably do, is to wait to you have an Expanded version, beyond "beta", and then i will also hope to learn about the framerate/conflicts.....

IN----teresting!!

I totally love your mod scruggs, can't wait for the non-beta version witht more of the features ...

The only nuissances I have encountered with it so far are; the running speed of the thieves (should be lovered just a tad), the fact that some of the thieves' body parts becom visible while the rest of the thief is invisible (like a pair of shoes sneaking around ).

One bug of sorts that I just discovered was when you undertake a sacred oath from Caius Cosades, complete (i did get the message that said I had fullfilled the oath) the oath and then come back to him, nothing happpens... if you ask him about "undertake a sacred oath" he only tells you the rues of the oath, and if you press the "where will this oath take me"-option he tells you the same thing again ad you're trapped in the conversation and have to reload the save (since there's no "goodbye"-option)

edit: it was the "oath of humility"

keep up the wonderful work

Fun idea, but they are correct.... Way too many thieves who can steal way too much at way too fast a speed.

hi, i've been away for a bit, just checking in on your comments. thanks for your feedback (especially the negative comments, they are much more constructive ).

the pickpockets ARE way too fast. when i test plugins i usually crank my character's speed way up to save time...stupidly i adjusted the pickpockets' speed accordingly as well. that's changed; now all pickpockets' Speed will be set to just above the player's speed.

there are a lot of thieves in the demo; this is because they are spawned from leveled lists. in future versions those lists will include more types of npc's (bards, beggars, etc) so you'll see a greater variety.

shanjaq: yes, there are beggars, but i like your idea that beggars might resort to thievery if you ignore their pleas.

gabrioth: heh, i didn't even realize caius would give the oath quests. once you fufill an oath you should receive a new one the next time you ask about it (the quest-giver won't acknowledge your success). thanks for pointing out that bug, i will look into it.

i have some time off today, maybe enough to get a new version out with the bards, hunters, beggars (now improved thanks to shanjaq ), and bandits. if so it will still be beta (thanks to anyone who's helping to test for bugs; with all the random factors there is only so much testing i can do myself).

So glad you came back to check on this thread scruggs. I hope you don't misread the "negative" comments. I think everyone really liked the vision of your mod. We just wanted to get a chance to wack back at a couple fewer pickpockets.

update: no, i didn't forget about this mod. instead i've kept on adding to it...i tend to get distracted easily but for those who are interested, here are some of the ideas which have now been finished:

Random Quests
- Alchemists will request your assistance in assembling the ingredients for experimental potions. you have a choice of rewards here, including the opportunity to play guinea pig and see if the potion really works.
- The Imperial Legion offers bounties on a different creature each week. the more creatures you kill before the end of the week, the greater your reward.
- Monks can administer sacred oaths. each oath is unique, for instance to abstain from using magic or wearing armor, and then to travel to a random ancestral tomb, cleanse it of guardians, and rest there to receive a nice reward.
- hard-to-find random quests will allow you to locate powerful moonstones, which function like the mark and recall spells: drop a beacon stone at any location outdoors, then use the corresponding moonstone to recall to that location from anywhere. you can find up to 5 sets of these, but the quests are rather involved.
- Slave quests: now when you rescue a slave, you have several options: you can free him, leave him, or ask him to follow you. if he comes with you, you have a choice of keeping him as your own, leading him to a member of the twin lamps who will help him return home to freedom, or sell him to a slave trader for gold. special rewards are available for freeing or selling a large number of slaves.

Random NPCs
These can appear anywhere in town or in the wilderness and have specific behavior.
- beggars now follow you through city streets begging for gold. you can ignore them, which might cause them to lose interest, or may cause them to just try to steal your money instead. you can toss them a couple of coins, which is good karma (showing enough compassion may lead to benefits later on...). you can take them to a temple where they can receive help, or lead them outside town and put them out of their misery. one further note, beggars often carry diseases, so spending too much time around them could make you sick
- pickpockets sneak around cities and may try to rip you off. if successful, they will run off with a portion of your gold. you can chase them down and kill them or turn them into the guards. if you lose the thief, you lose your gold too.
- traveling merchants now travel the roads between cities with their trusty packguar in tow. each merchant has a specific route, and may be found on the roads, in town doing business, or resting up at a tavern. some may ask for minor assistance; if they like you, they will show you a few special items not for general sale. or they might try to rip you off and sell you some shoddy items.
- bandits can be encountered in the wilderness. they are keyed to your level and may attack in large bands. it's up to you whether you hand over your gold or stand and fight.

there are still lots of things i want to include. i don't think releasing any more "beta" versions is a good idea since a lot of the scripts are interlinked. but with any luck i'll continue to have free time in which to keep working on this, and release it soon.

Scruggs!

Has this been fixed, in your newer version?! I am way, a bit, slow on the ole "reaction-time", being all of 62 years old and Autistic to boot!

In fact i had already downloaded your "old" version, but did not install it just for that reason alone!!!

and oh DRATS!!
esms!!
Morrowind comes alive has also been upgraded and it is an esm too!
I have 200 mods installed and of *course*, [WINCE] most of my mods are 'attributed" to the esms!

lets see....[freestone ponders the Possibilities of those obscure programs that enables Dependencies in mods without RE-saving all 200 mods in the CS
*AGAIN*!]

...there are programs that can "help' with esm installs/upgrades, right?!

I really look forwards to the upgraded Morrowwind comes alive 1.5 esm...[i have 1.4 now]
and...
YOURS, scruggs, if i can get beyond those fast thieves and the esm install.

tips , please, by someone....on how to upgrade and/or install esms, where many of the mods have the older version of the installed esm aleady installed *and* attributed!.
[i tried to "cleverly"" fake out the game, once, by merely changing the Name of the new esm upgrade, in a mod, to be the same name as the older version, but the game Complained bitterly to me about "non-matching" files"!!]

thanks...freestone

The beta version is compatible with Morrowind Comes Alive, in my experience. They've been peacefully coexisting for a whole day now.

I second the question of Bioturtle. Has this plugin been updated yet? I'm quivering with anticipation.

scruggs, I'm REALLY enjoying this and would recommend it whole heartedly. It adds alot of flavour to Morrowind, works perfectly with all my other mods (100 ish including Morrowind Comes Alive), and doesn't impact my framerate

Thanks

I have just discovered this mod so it's new to me. I like the way it adds so much more to MW and extends game play. Thank you, for this excellent idea and the work you've put into it

I second that!!
I wrote to him a letter, to ask about the pickpockets; no reply yet, and that was days, maybe two weeks ago. in his letter to me, the last one, he says that he fixed it but that fixed version has not been released yet!!!!!!

Scruggs!!
if you read this, maybe, pleeeease, could you just release a small "esp" patch, *just* to disable or to slow way down, these pickpocket theives?!

I wonder....
the Comments on the previous post want me to add this mod, for sure!!
say!!
is there anyway to disable the pickpockets in the CS?! remove them from the game, or maybe slow them down?!
If i were to load the mod in the CS, surely i could Do Something, alas i do not know enough, of myself, without some help, to do this.

if i can NOT CS-fix the mod, is there a way to "gameplay", in the towns, to minimize the actual pick-pocketing?

thanks....freestone

well.....

I am "sort of Inituated" into modding now, i guess!!

I went into the CS and I brought up the mod.
I found the script section and i scrolled through about 200 to 300 scripts, looking for "pickpockets".

[there are a LOT of scripts and the very names of these scripts Intrigue me greatly, makes me want to play this mod even the more...as there are values for things that involve the whole game! He really made a very large change, a very well done out additions and changes to morrowind!!]

I found two pickpocket scripts, they are NOT listed under the alphabetical listing "pickpockets": they are listed under some other name, but the word "pickpocket' is in the line, and the two are about two or four lines apart.

Yes.....the script indeed calls for a *HUGE* pickpocketspeed!
"1000"!!!

[freestone gets out his Probes]

I can change *that*! I made the value "5"! while i was at this, i
changed the various values of money stolen, to a lower value, and i changed the "time to catch the pickpocket" to 90 seconds instead of 60 seconds.
I did this for both pickpockets.

now, unless there are yet more pickpockets that i did not find, i, myself, have Changed this mod!

YOU CAN TOO!!

[The Possibilities loom, for my other 200 mods!!]

Hey, I have an idea, maby you could finish the rest of the things that scurggs said he would do and then we could get a link to YOUR updated verision because scurggs wont.
P.S. If anyone wants to look at my post about Fauren Oran and my problem with him that would be really nice, thank you.

Did you find how to lower the number of pickpockets per town ?
There too many of them

What would be great is standard NPC which suddenly pickpocket you.
Not half invisble ones called... Pickpocket
But I'm not a modder at all, so I don't know if it's possible

You know, this is something I've always wanted. If this turns out well, this might just put Morrowind above (As opposed to a well-balanced equal) of Daggerfall to me. So uh, yeah. Finish it. And if you don't, I'll uh... send demons pouring out of your floppy drive ala Shin Megami Tensei.

Anyway, the slave bracer thingy. Would that be compatible with Jun's Twin Lamps mod and free more slaves?

*waves*

i'm not dead and neither is MW Inhabitants. i have had time the past week to do add a lot of new stuff, i have 2 more days before things get busy for me again. can't promise a new version but there's hope. it's mostly just that so much has been added to the mod that it needs thorough testing before i'm comfortable releasing something. that should be good news even if you are impatient to see a release; when it does come out, i'm sure you'll find a lot to enjoy. here's a brief update on things that have been implemented at this point:

first, to answer questions about pickpockets: #1, their speed has been fixed so that they are just slightly faster than your character, no matter what your speed is when you encounter them. this compensates for their habit of stopping for breath around corners or out of sight from the player, so you have a good chance of catching them. #2, the reason there are so many pickpockets in the original beta release you are playing is that they are spawned from leveled-lists containing all types of random npcs. as more types of npcs are added to that list, you'll see greater variety of npc's; right now the list only contains pickpockets, so of course the towns seem overrun with them. #3, of course you will get in trouble if you attack a pickpocket before he steals from you. that's an unprovoked attack.

the mod includes all features of the beta release, which are Sacred Oaths, bounty hunts, experimental potions, etc. now, the new stuff:

Moonstones: there are five sets of moonstones hidden throughout the game. these enchanted pairs of stones allow you to teleport to and from any outdoor location. essentially they work as extra Mark and Recall spells: drop a moonstone at the location where you want to set a mark, then use that stone's twin to recall to that location. they can only be uncovered through quests given by random npcs. the quests are quite involved.

Slaves: when you encounter a slave in the game, you have several options of what to do with him or her. you can free them on the spot and let them go their own way, as in normal morrowind. or, you can "adopt" the slave as your own. the slave will follow you. you can keep it for yourself, or lead it to a member of the twin lamps who will help it return home, or you can sell it to a slave trader. slaves you have freed may be so grateful for your assistance that they will offer to travel with you. freeing or selling a large number of slaves can lead to interesting rewards.

beggars: these are encountered in cities. they will follow you around begging for gold. you can give them a few coppers, or ignore them, or lead them to a priest who can help them, or lead them outside town and put them out of their misery. all of these actions will have an effect on your character (showing compassion may lead to rewards later on; it's karma). if you ignore them, they may give up, or they may just decide to rob you. beggars often carry disease, and spending too much time around them may make you sick.

traveling merchants: there are several of these, and they actually travel a route along the roads from city to city. you can find them along the road with their trusty packguar, or bartering in town, or resting up at a tavern. occassionally they may ask for your assistance. getting in their good graces may encourage them to show you a few special wares not available for general purchase. be careful, they may attempt to rip you off, in which case you'll have to track them down again if you want to demand a refund.

some features aren't fully implemented yet, but in the works, including hunters encountered in the wilderness, bandits, random treasure hunts, etc...the next release of the mod will likely focus on enlivening the cities of morrowind with the bards, beggars, etc before i tackle the wilderness.

the mod includes a few optional extras: for one, the method of joining certain guilds can be altered to work more like Daggerfall (for instance, you don't ask to join the thieves guild; the thieves guild approaches you when you've earned a naughty reputation). also, you have the option of actually going to prison for your crimes rather than just waking up after your sentence has passed. there are some interesting things to do while you're in jail.

to answer the questions about compatibility with MW Comes Alive: i have not played that mod. i've heard that it has similar features to mine, but there should be no more chance of a conflict than with any other mod. because of the way npcs and dialogue are handled, conflicts should be very very rare. in fact MW Inhabitants is designed to integrate with other mods, in such a way that you may find an npc added by another mod sending you off on a Sacred Oath quest, or becoming a central figure in the quest for a Moonstone.

sorry if it seems i've ignored this thread for a while; i just don't have access to the internet at home so i can only offer periodic updates. but i'm looking forward to a new release as much as anybody else.

Holy crap scruggs I can't wait to get my grubby little hands on this one. It will totaly revolutionise game play in Morrowind. And whats the deal with Exodus Quest? You said it was almost done a few months ago. I've been waiting for that one too. Any updates on that great mod?

Thanks for all the hard work on this great mod. I can't wait to try it out.

As far as I know Scruggs left the morrowind modding scene behind long ago, so I seriously doubt this mod will be released. (Seriously doubt meaning it'll be a cold day in hell first).
Which is too bad cause it looked like such a good mod.

OK - two questions, having just scanned through this thread . . .

. .. because:

1. it does sound like a really wonderful idea

2. some of you have played (the beta), and

3. I was busy saving up mods to repopulate Vvardenfel and provide some challenge

So, questions:

A. what is happening with this?

B. what about compatibility/duplication?

[I have Adverturer NPCs 1.1 and Morrowind Addon in and they both help. Ready to go in I have - Vampire Realism, Morrowind Comes Alive, NPC Schedules, Rogues 1.5 and New Hostile Attackers]

- when is enough, enough, and

- what does this mod do that these others won't, and

- which ones will work together?

Hey I have an IDEA . I think you should add the "stranger" to the NPC list. Guess what they do... they are VAMPIRES . They come up to you and ask if you want to have dinner with thier friends and to follow them...if you say yes they go to thier "friends" (about 4 of them) and then they say "Dinner is served" and they all attach you...or they might offer to change you into a vampire. If you say no they attach you then and there. Hey I have another IDEA .
Have an NPC called "thug" walk around with a group of "thugs" and they threaten to beat you up (they dont have weapons but they have 200 hand to hand skill) if you dont give them __?__ amount of gold. You have three options: Give them the gold...try to talk your way out of it...or just fight them. Two cool ideas that I would like the rest of the fourm members that are intrested in this thread to VOTE on. If you think it sounds cool then say so if you think it sounds stupid...say so. If you have any sugestions...say so. Maby if enough people think it is cool I think that scruggs may decide to incorperate one or both of these into the game .

Hey in your last message it said you are going to GO to jail. I was wondering if you could make jailbreaks and stuff. I am also wondering if you could make an item laundry person in the counsul clubs and stuff. So your stuff wouldent be marked as stolen anymore. It would cost lets say 1/8 of the origonal item value. I think that would be cool.

We're all waiting for scruggs to chime in, and tell us what's going on. Hope we get an update soon. I can't wait for this to come out.

Scruggs?

Anyone else?

Any notion of where this fine idea is going? Toward release would be wonderful . . . ?

Knowing would be good.

Oh man.

I hit this thread & got all worked up....until halfway through when I noticed how old it was. Don't suppose there's any chance of someone else taking the mod on if scruggs' lost interest is there?
